Director of Fine and Performing Arts (K-12), Needham Public Schools
Lead a team of forty educators to deliver high quality programming in the arts, serving over 5,000 students across eight schools. Oversee all aspects of the Department including curriculum design, budget, operations, and community relationships.
2016-2017
Principal Fellow, Boston Public Schools
Worked directly with the Principals of the Curtis Guild Elementary and the Warren-Prescott K-8 Schools, as part of the requirements of the School Leadership Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Coached teachers, provided professional development, and completed school wide data analysis presentations.

Educator
Taught in a variety of settings including both public schools and pre-college conservatory programs, with a focus on student growth, achievement, and equity. Served on the string faculty of the New England Conservatory Prepartory School, Longy School of Music of Bard College Community Programs, and Boulder Suzuki Strings. Taught Orchestra and Music in the Cambridge Public Schools and Ithaca City School District at the Elementary and Middle School levels.

As part of the School Leadership Program, received State Certifications for Principal, Superintendent, and Curriculum Director upon completion. Worked as a Principal Fellow in the Boston Public Schools.
2006-2008
University of Colorado, Boulder M.M, Viola Performance
As a Master student in viola performance, I primarily studied viola with Erkia Eckert and also received lessons from Geraldine Walther of the Takacs Quartet. Performed in master classes with Victoria Chiang, William Preucil, The Diaz Trio, Malcolm Bilson, and members of the Takacs Quartet. I was part of the Quartet Program, at the Brevard Music Center, under the direction of David Salness. While in Boulder, I also completed a year long apprenticeship with Dr. William Starr, receiving Violin and Viola Suzuki Certification in Books One through Four.
2000-2004
Ithaca College B.M, Viola Performance and Music Ed.
As a student in viola performance, I primarily studied with Debra Moree. I also attended the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Bonefero, Italy. As a music education student, I completed string pedagogy classes with Sandy Reuning in addition to methods classes in all instrument groups. I completed my student teaching at the Ithaca Talent Institute and Fayetteville-manlius High School.
